Case Study
City of Palm Springs
Our partner
Daley Strategies partners with the City of Palm Springs on high-profile public engagement initiatives, helping the city communicate transparently with residents, stakeholders, and elected officials during pivotal moments of change.
How we helped
Convention Center Modernization & Urban Connector. As Palm Springs undertakes a $135 million modernization of its Convention Center — the first major capital investment in the facility since 2005 — Daley Strategies leads stakeholder and community engagement efforts alongside close coordination with city staff and council. The project will reimagine the Convention Center’s meeting and event spaces while creating a connected “Urban Connector” district that links the facility to downtown hotels, dining, and cultural destinations. Daley Strategies ensures residents, business owners, and community stakeholders stay informed and engaged as the project moves from planning through construction, helping the city build public confidence in a project that will shape the future of Palm Springs’ tourism economy for decades to come.
Section 14 Reparations Agreement. Following the City Council’s landmark settlement addressing the displacement of residents from the Section 14 neighborhood in the 1960s, Daley Strategies assists the City’s community communications throughout implementation of the reparations agreement. This includes supporting outreach to survivors and descendants, and assisting city staff in shaping the policy framework behind the settlement’s housing, economic development, and cultural preservation commitments.
