Case Study

Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA)

Our partner

The Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA) is the lead agency addressing the regional homelessness crisis, serving as the largest Continuum of Care agency in the nation. Managing federal, state, county, and city funds for critical homelessness programs, LAHSA sits at the center of Los Angeles’ response to homelessness — connecting thousands of unhoused Angelenos with the housing, services, and support they need to reach stability.

How we helped

Daley Strategies works with LAHSA’s executive leadership and external affairs team to strengthen the agency’s coordination with City, County, and state leaders, helping foster productive relationships and navigate complex policy and public affairs issues. Daley Strategies also provides crisis communications and strategic counsel to support transparency and alignment around high-profile matters.

Highlights

With Daley Strategies’ support, LAHSA continues to coordinate with government and external partners to provide housing, emergency shelters, and social services to people experiencing homelessness. LAHSA also helps to inform policymakers’ homelessness policies through the region’s annual Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count and tracking tools like the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS).
