Mountains Recreation & Conservation Authority

Our partner

The Santa Monica Mountains is one of the world’s largest urban national park areas and a vital ecological and recreational resource for Southern California. The region encompasses more than 500 miles of trails and highly diverse habitats supporting hundreds of wildlife species, all within reach of millions of residents. The Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority (MRCA) works to preserve and manage open space, parkland, wildlife habitat, and public access throughout the Santa Monica Mountains and surrounding communities.

How we helped

Daley Strategies provided government relations support to advance MRCA’s public-land stewardship priorities, helping strengthen coordination and engagement with local and state government partners on issues affecting the Santa Monica Mountains and regional open space.

Highlights

By strengthening public sector relationships, our work helped advance MRCA’s broader mission to preserve open space, protect wildlife habitat and connectivity, and maintain public access to these landscapes for future generations.
