Trevor Daley
Founder & CEO
As Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Daley Strategies, Trevor advises municipal, public agency, nonprofit, and private-sector clients on government relations, legislative advocacy, funding strategy, and intergovernmental engagement. He brings more than two decades of experience helping cities, public agencies, and community-serving organizations advance complex infrastructure, transportation, housing, and public policy priorities through local, state, and federal government processes.
Trevor served for nearly 20 years in the Office of U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein, including as State Director, Deputy State Director, District Director, and Field Representative. In these roles, he worked directly with cities, counties, transportation agencies, federal departments, congressional appropriations staff, and elected officials to identify funding needs, evaluate earmark requests, resolve intergovernmental challenges, and advance major public investments. He also served as a liaison between the Senator’s California offices and Washington, D.C. team, giving him a practical understanding of how local priorities are positioned within federal legislative, agency, grant, and appropriations processes.
During his tenure with Senator Feinstein, Trevor helped secure federal grants and a $307 million Transportation Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act loan for the Los Angeles Metro Purple Line extension. He also led a team to a $670 million construction grant agreement from the Federal Transit Administration for the Regional Connector light rail project. In the Coachella Valley, he coordinated elected officials, public agencies, and community leaders and helped secure $500,000 in funding to advance planning for passenger rail service between Los Angeles and the Coachella Valley. He also worked with the Riverside County Transportation Commission and federal appropriations staff to support major Inland Empire transportation projects, including the 15/91 Express Lanes Connector and the 91 Corridor Improvement Project.
Formerly, as Chief of External Affairs and Deputy Executive Director at Los Angeles World Airports, Trevor directed government affairs, public affairs, community relations, media relations, and guest experience for one of the nation’s largest airport systems. He developed and implemented a regional outreach strategy for the Automated People Mover and other major LAX infrastructure projects, conducting more than 100 stakeholder meetings and working closely with the City and County of Los Angeles to secure support and approvals.
